This section presents information on the structure and pathology of the exocrine pancreas at multiple levels of organization from the organ down to molecules, and can be thought of as a pancreatic atlas and picture book. We welcome submission of micrographs that illustrate the histology and ultrastructure of the normal pancreas, pancreatic pathology and the response to the environment. The section also contains a description of pancreatic organelles, their function and component molecules, as well as the localization of specific proteins by immunohistochemistry (IHC) or other techniques.
