NFAT-Luciferase

Description (including epitope tag if present):

NFAT-luciferase reporter (9 multimerized NFAT binding sites upstream of a minimal TATA-containing promoter fused to luciferase) was cloned into the multiple cloning site of pAC-CMV-pLpA construct. The resulting plasmid was cotransfected into HEK293 cells with plasmid pJM17 which contains the Ad5 genome.

  • How used:

Optimized and performed in isolated, primary mouse acinar cells as well as secondary cell lines including

acinar-derived AR42J, 266-6 and non-acinar HEK293 and NIH 3T3.  Please refer to methods section in pancreapedia "Quantitative assays of transcriptional activity:  NFAT-Luciferase reporter".
